JOBS International

JOBS International was established in Washington DC in 2006 to provide both administrative and technical support to the growing number of private sector development and employment generation activities originating from the successful, Bangladesh-based, JOBS Project.  The USAID-funded JOBS Project ended in 2005 and transformed itself into a locally registered trust, JOBS Bangladesh.  Jobs International enables organizations around the world to benefit from the experience and expertise gathered over nine years of operations in Bangladesh.  With proficiency at every level of the development process, from grass roots interface with “end-users” to advisory input at the highest levels of government, JOBS International spans the spectrum of development interventions.

President Imran Shauket, former JOBS Project Director, now divides his time between the United States and Bangladesh and has joined Charles Caldwell, former Director and current Senior Fellow at the Center for Institutional Reform and the Informal Sector (IRIS) at the University of Maryland, to harness JOBS’ success and expand its impact.  The team at JOBS International offers a wealth of experience in dealing with donor grant and contract mechanisms, financial and technical proposal preparation, assessment and survey work, program implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
